What I would want you to know
- Best time
- Dry season runs roughly December to April. Hurricane season is June 1 to November 30.
- Seaweed
- Sargassum tends to collect on the Atlantic side, usually spring into summer. I keep you on the calmer Caribbean side.
- Getting in
- The main international airport is in the south. The drive north can run over an hour, so where you stay matters.
- Entry
- A valid passport for US citizens.
